Today, kids wake up and go to school and they are teased until 3:30. At 3:30 they get home and they receive emails that bully them, they got to Twitter and see everyone is talking about the goofy haircut they had. They go to Instagram and some prick at school took a picture of their hair and there are 100 likes and 50 comments on how shitty it looks. They then go to their face book page and see a bunch of kids rude comments on it. If they are really unlucky, someone made a video of them and posted it on YouTube and it goes viral throughout their school. Even if they ignore all that crap, they can still get texts by people who got their number from someone else. You can ignore them but not without reading them first.
I agree that kids are a little more emotional now but you have to admit, it could really get out of hand and overwhelming for a young impressionable kid today. I'm thinking parents may actually have to take the time to get to know their kids and talk with them at the dinner table. Ask them how their day went or notice if something might be wrong.
