jolter reminded me of a recent stunt i pulled.
my daughter (a recent hs graduate) threw a party in our basement a couple of months or so ago. usually the kids are reasonably well behaved (seriously). this time due to their imminent graduation they had the music too loud and their were a few boys yelling. i had retired early and was having trouble actually falling asleep. so... i put on a pair of shorts (no shirt) and headed downstairs.
mind you i was mid cycle and 240lbs and as always had a large snake tattoo over my chest/shoulder/back. as the kids saw me enter the basement - instant silence and stares. Priceless! i growled "turn it down a notch" and headed back upstairs.
the rest of the night was much quieter.
i understand the kids still talk about it... speculating if i purposefully didn't wear i shirt... :-)
it's great being the jacked dad sometimes.
