Hi All I'm trying to put together a training program I haven't put my Reps or weight in as this per the individual But would these training days and body parts work. Monday = chest Tuesday = back Wednesday = day off Thursday = arms Friday = day off Saturday = legs Sunday = day off Is this ok to work one body part and have so many rest days in one week. Any criticism will be duly noted Cheers Guys

Yes it can work very well hitting muscle once per week, check out Marcus diary in the lounge to see how best to do this mate. Don't see shoulders in the routine?

    My routine is
    Chest, biceps, forearms
    Legs, abs.
    Rest
    Back, traps, abs
    Shoulders, triceps
    Rest
    Rest
    Repeat

Oops yeah I left shoulders out I will fit that in I just wanted to know if it's ok to have so much rest and only one muscle group per day. Just done my first one today Chest Flat Bench Press Inclined Dumbbell Press Incline Flys Decline Dumbbell Press It actually felt strange and quick but it felt better if that makes sense. So you stick to one muscle group per week as well I'm going to throw shoulders in on my leg day.

Thanks for the reply to my thread it's a great site lots of helpful people on here.

As it happens ive just started that routine today, change up every few months depending on goal, last routine was a strength routine that i finished up 2 weeks back. Goal this time is to grow some mass!

if you only training once a week you need to hit it hard! research HIT its a method of training one of the mods on this forum swears by and he is a beast! def look into that thread i mentioned it will help you greatly!
