Yes i've experienced this playing basketball multiple times and it takes quite a bit off of your vertical leap because of the pain of lifting your leg up..Fortunately for me they usually healed fully within 2 weeks days each time..You will be fine..To avoid this i make sure i'm always stretching before lifting and staying hydrated..I Avoid going too heavy to the point where decent form is sacrificed..
