    the infamous carb cycle??

Ok I just got done reading a pretty good write up on the carb cycle... low mod and refueling stages.. What eludes me is getting these in grams.. I dont have the time to necessarily weigh things out. I just throw some chicken breasts and brown rice on a plate or make a heavy veg stir fry.. What are some of the ways to make this easier to keep track of? I have a hard time thinking in grams and even harder thinking.. ok thats a protein, thats a carb and forget fats LOL.. everything has fat in it, or so it seems

Make the time if you are serious. Really it takes only about an extra minute and a half in the beginning. After a while you will be able to tell just by looking at the quantity. I can darn near spot on 8oz. chicken breast, brown rice already measured when you make it, veggies probably would need to weigh more often if really paying attention to carb grams. Scales are cheap investment and easy to use.

I already own a scale to be honest. I just have a hard time keeping the use of it going. I spoke your correct though. Just measure everything.

make time to weigh your food and once you been doing it long enough you will be able to get a lot closer without the scale

Scale is the bet way - and if you have one then use it...

Short way - if eyeing would be to cut your carbs in half for 3 days(low) and then you'd still hlf to weigh your high day of 15-20%(more than TDEE) more than your daily consumption of carbs(not to be confused w/your low days)... it can give you a good idea where to start - but I'd weigh everything
