    1cc 29g x 1/2" to small?

    Hello,

I was wondering if a 1cc 29g x 1/2" insulin needle is to small for an individual to use to pin testosterone-C in the deltoids with? This individual has an large amount of needles in this size and would like to know if there will be any drawbacks to using such a small needle.

    Thank you!

It's possible, but it's not easy. Oil probably needs to be slightly warm. You need to inject places where there isn't much fat to pass through. You're still going to need a draw needle and with such a short pin, your not getting very deep into the muscle tissue.

On a positive note, you're going to get a much more controlled injection and no PIP.

Maybe trying an ED Prop cycle this way, where you're not shooting a lot of volume but have a bit easier time pinning every day.

Needles and syringes are cheap, just get the right ones for the job.

IMO 1cc is too small because you need to aspirate too and even if you split the dose to daily, you're going to have a hard time finding enough injection sites without too much fat under the skin for a 1/2" pin, to rotate your sites and prevent scaring.

Assuming the insulin syringes are the type with a fixed pin, you will also dull the tip of the needle if you're drawing from a vial each time you load it up with juice, it's just not worth the hassle.

Save the insulin syringes for your HCG and buy 100, 23g 1" for 16 bucks online. Syringes are dirt cheap

I've done it, no problem. If you have the time for the slow draw, the 1/2" is fine for the delts, unless you're covered with fat.

You would have to back load the pin. You would never be able to pull up any oils with a 29g pin.

Correct, backloading is the only option with an insulin pin. I've been injecting my test with an insulin pin 31g for the last 6wks. It's not difficult at all and nice to have one less irritating standard injection to deal with.

Not impossible. Just slow. I have done it. Patience is needed...Faster if you pre warm the oil. Much earlier to backload, once you get the technique down.

You would definitely have to backload. It would take you over an hour to pull up a cc with a 29g. I wouldn't do it. I would get 1" 25g at least

5 min. Not an hour, though it would feel like an hour. I regularly pull 1/10 ml, of test prop, for my girl. Takes 30 seconds, on a warm day...

There is more than the gauge of the needle involved. Smaller diameter barrels produce higher pressure, and the longer the needle the harder to draw and inject.

The solution for TRT sized doses up to .3ml is to get .3cc, 5/16" long insulin needles. I regularly use 31g, .3cc, 5/16" long insulin syringes to draw and inject. Even with the thickest oil t-cyp i've seen, it's less than a minute to draw .25cc. And injecting subq is painless and quick. 19 shots out of 20 I don't even see where the needle was inserted, much less have any oil or blood come out.

Tried it once with a 29g, 1cc, 1/2" long insulin syringe. Yep, .05cc in about 2 minutes and I gave up.

So for doses below .3ml, the syringe described works wonderfully.

For up to .5cc, google BD 305536. It's a tuberculin syringe, which is a zero-deadspace syringe. It's like the big brother to an insulin syringe. 27g, 3/8" and a .5cc barrel. I can draw and inject .5cc of t-cyp in less than a minute total. I've never seen anyone else mention them, but for subq doses of .5cc it's perfect.

And as crazy as it sounds, daily shots of .5 subq with 200mg/ml t-cyp and a cycle of 700mg per week is totally feasible without ever having a sore muscle or a drop of blood. Rotate between fat on upper thigh and abdomen.

It works but not ideal. Gotta back load to save the needle.

Tens of millions of diabetics do insulin just as described. They don't backload to save the needle.

And for what it's worth, I've played with how hard it is to break the skin with a new needle versus one that's been stuck in an empty vial a couple of times to attempt to dull it. No difference.

Although I bought 3cc 23g 1.5" inch needles I have been using the 1cc 29g x 1/2" to inject my delts and quads with. I have had no issues however I am pretty lean in my shoulders and quads. That being said I am going to start using the larger needles because it takes a ridiculous amount of time to fill the syringe with such a small needle. As far as Aspirating goes I have been able to aspirate due to the fact that the 29g needles plunger can be pulled back past the 1cc mark by a considerable amount.

Everytime I back load, the oil starts to push itself out of the tip of the needle... I think it's the air pressure from putting the plunger back in the syringe after backloading it... any ideas how to battle that ?
