performance issues, but not what you might think...

i'm 52, been on trt about 2 years and started with 5 mg daily cialis for the first year, then transitioned to 2x20mg cialis from overseas pharmacy for the last 11 months. last shipment wasn't delivered, and i've been without cialis for the last month.

sexual performance (ie erectile dysfunction) had been an issue prior to trt and on occasion i would supplement with viagra even while on cialis. i could generally perform while - getting hard and lasting plenty long enough for my wife and my satisfaction. i've done two cycles since starting trt - first was 500 mg test with 150 mg deca/week and second was 100 tren a + 70 mg test p eod. performance was fine first cycle and i had occasionally hard a hard time finishing in second cycle, but was plenty hard the whole time (still on cialis + occasional viagra throughout).

my performance issues today are the opposite - i don't get hard easily and then all of a sudden am done too quickly. first time this happened my wife laughed at how rookie i had become (it was kind of funny - no biggie for me). but the second time is the potential beginning of a trend, which isn't good, cumming too quickly will not lead to a satisfied wife for long! i know there are lots of things we could do after i shoot, but honestly i'd rather go back to the old days. so... i'm looking to go back on cialis as this is the only real change in variables, but honestly this sounds a bit strange to me.

any thoughts or similar experiences from the community?

Are you taking hCG? The thing to keep in mind is that not all sex issues arise from body only. But you knew that already.

I too, had similar issues but when only when taking the cialis... It actually made me cum quicker - which in the past it was exactly the opposite - but after I shot I wouldn't even have a refractory period... I'd just stay hard and obviously continue on lol - but yes It was still frustrating after being used to what I was used to lol - I think it was more psychological for me - what about you now? You think or its in/on your mind while/or b4 performing?? That's what I think got me haha

yes I'm on HCG too, and yes there are far more things that can attribute to this as 2Sox said! Estro plays a big role in our brains... And I know your dialed in - hmmm could be an array of things - when we're your last bloods?

actually, i took myself off hcg about 10 months ago now. based on the information i had at the time (including consultation with my urologist overseeing my trt), it seems the only benefit of hcg was preventing testicular atrophy, which wasn't a big deal to me (or my wife). i'd appreciate any specific links or info on hcg you have 2sox (and i'll redo some research).

my last bw was 7/16 (pre dating the sex issue, which is the subject of this note, and pre-dating my stopping the cialis). i could report all the numbers but the key ones i think for this are:

Test serum 1395 (250-1100) H
Test free 308 (35-155) H
Luteinizing Hormone <0.7 (1.5-9.3) L
Estradiol (MAH) 63 (<40) H

I realize my estradiol is high, here's the context. i switched docs ~10 months ago to get my trt covered by insurance. when my first bw came back at that time it had a similar ratio of test serum to estradiol. i asked my doc about this and increasing anastrozol or reducing test cyp, and he said provided the ratio was >8, i should be ok. thinking about this now, i think i should check further into this (maybe i was hearing what i wanted to believe). again, any thoughts here are appreciated.

finally, after cleaning out my supps cupboard i found some cialis of the type i used previously and have started taking again. so shortly i'll now if it was the cialis (or something mental combined with cialis as a placebo!), or something else...

I was on the cialis but couldn't deal with the sides. 50 mg Viagra works good for me. Now with those numbers there is something else going on, maybe mental. With numbers that high, you should be a walking woodie.

Most men here strongly advocate for hCG. To me, it's the icing on the cake of TRT. Yes, your stones stay normal sized and in a normal position. But the wonderful thing is that you get back those intense orgasms again and actually have noticeably increased ejaculate volume. Without hCG, both are practically unnoticeable. From my own experience, this is no exaggeration at all. You just feel better in general. If you add this to your protocol, it can only help. I will be ordering from a new supplier where I can also get Aromasin - both very reasonably. PM me if you'd like more info.

it turns out i performing back to normal for me with the cialis. i may try the hcg again with my next re-script to test 2sox's inputs - would love to get more intense o's!

I was recently off HCG for almost 3 weeks due to a lack of stock in my area & traveling on business. That was the first time being off it in over 4 years. Have to say, I did not feel as good while off. Was very surprised at this, as I didnt think it mattered that much...

Bart are you really doing 40mgs cialis daily? It's twice the max dose.
Lowering your test dose may help as well. You've got plenty of room with your free T.
Why would your doc test LH?
Wrong estrogen test (you know this) so we don't really know your range. That said, high E can cause multiple issues.
