TRT, Off Cycle, Bloodwork, and HCG

I am currently prescribed TRT, but I was on cycle for 16 weeks. I am now off cycle, and back on my normal dosage of TRT. However, I need to go into get BW done, so I have a few questions.

1-16 750mg Test Cyp
1-14 400mg Equipoise

First, how long do I have to wait until my levels are back to what they would be on TRT?

Second, if I use HCG while on TRT won't I become desensitized, and my body will not make the normal amount of test that it would make or has my body stopped producing test because I'm on TRT? Also, while on cycle should I be taking HCG the entire cycle or how long should I take it for during cycle?

Third, is it worth me doing PCT to get my testies producing test in addition to what I'm taking for TRT?

I'm asking this because it says to start PCT 18 days after last pin of Test Cyp, but according to this forum it says wait up to 35 days after. Trying to gauge where my levels are at, so I don't go into the doc, and my test levels are through the roof.

It appears you have some confusion. If you are on TRT in addition cycled, your natty is shut down, you are not producing any T.
TRT is in lue of NOT in addition...meaning you are not adding to existing, you are totally replacing T.
Amazes me some Dr.s don't even know this, they think you are adding on top of your current levels......sad

You didnt mention what you cycled with, as I believe getting BW will depend on the esther of compound used which has a half life ( time it takes to clear the body). Test cyp i believe has a half life of 18 days, whereas test prop is 3 days.
HCG should be taken all the time while on TRT as well as cycling.
As soon as you inject exogenous hormones your natural production is shutdown.

250 IU's two or three times per week is usually fine.
Some are now doing low dose (100 IU's) daily and reporting good results.

"Your nuts aren't working since your TRT so I really see no point in taking HCG. There is nothing for you to reboot since your supplying your body with exogenous test and short circuiting the whole system. If you are really concerned about I would talk to your doctor about it. Everybody I know on TRT, HCG is not a part of the protocol."

Well, your other forum friends are really not that educated. Take a minute and google Dr. John Crisler's HCG Update. He's one of the top TRT docs in the country. Nelson Vergel has also written some great articles on it. The sticky thread at the top of this forum is a good read as well.

My question to you would be this: Is there any other body part you would allow to wither away if you did not have to?

Kel is right, HCG and the stimulation it provides is much more than just helping recovery. It provides other things the body needs. Dr Crisler does have some good info out on it you should look in to.

I'd always opt for the script first, assuming insurance will pay for it. If they initially refuse have your doc write up a quick "Letter of Medical Necessity" and forward it to your insurance plan administrator.

The more direct the better. He/she should be aware of it. If he says it's not necessary advise him it's right on most HCG package inserts as a use for Hypogonadic Hypogonadism.

Just an update. I spoke with my doc, and he gave me a script for HCG. He prescribed .3cc injected IM 3 times a week. He also said that in between injections to put the remaining amount in the freezer. He said, normally it can last up to 2 months in the fridge, but in the freezer it will last much longer.

Freezer will destroy the mixed HCG.

You should mix it with bacteriostatic water to make it sterile for a few weeks/months. Also 0,3cc means nothing, you need to know the number of ui's.

On top of that its much easier to inject subq.

I'm just passing along what he said. He said it has to be mixed and can be stored in the freezer. When thawed out inject .3cc IM, so whatever .3cc is out of 10,000iu script. Would that be 300iu 3 times a week?

Any other comments on keeping in the freezer? First time I've heard of this myself, but he's the doc.

Personally subq much easier IMO.
Rather get punctured with a 29 ga pinner 2-3 times a week or a 25 1" ?
Id rather not jab holes in my muscle 720+ times a year but thats me.

The script my doc gave me is for 10,000iu at .3cc 3 times a week. I haven't purchased it yet, b/c it is very expensive. Just to confirm it can be taken IM or Subq correct? I wonder why he would prescribe IM if it can be taken subq? Subq is so much easier and less painful.
