larger meals over smaller meals !

we all aim to eat 5-7 meals a day but some days its hard to achieve so was wondering if i was only able to consume 4 meals i guess its best to cram more food into one meal ? so eat the same as i would in say 7 meals just double my portions ?

Yep! Most ppl say hit your macros and your g2g. I eat 6 meals a day only because it's easier to eat small meals then a couple big meals.

That will be fine. You will not notice any difference IMO.

I only get one opportunity to hit the DFAC on base during my days of work so I just grab everything I need for the day and eat it throughout the shift...I don't even view it as set meals anymore, I just eat as I work.

I prefer 3 larger meals. It doesn't make much of a difference IMO

Adherence is way more important than meal size. Meaning, go with a regimen you can easily adhere to based on time, preference, etc. If you can only manage to eat 3 meals a day, that's what you do. If you get too full and prefer to eat more frequent, smaller meals, then do that. The differences, if any, will be negligible unless you're well into single digit bodyfat and dieting down for contest prep. Beyond that, worry about the big 2:

    Discipline, and Consistency.
