Are protien bars a good substitute?

I am going on a snowboarding trip end of November for 3 days. I wish I could pack rice and yams to eat on top of the mountain - lol

I will do my best to eat clean but I am concerned about not eating enough.

Can I eat 2-3 low sugar protien bars every few hours?

I am trying to cut bf% - eating 2800 calories right now. I am concerned I will lose a lot of weight if I don't eat enough for 3 days.

    Thanks in advance.

Nutri grain bars are not to bad if u need to. But it's all about staying in your macros.

So count out your cals and figure out what will work on the mountain. Don't forget to count all the beer u drink to haha

I found something 180 calories, 21 grams protien, 17 carbs. I guess I will eat 3 each time.

    I hope they don't freeze - lol

Quest tastes so much better but it has 8-10 gms of fat so I picked some random brand - cheaper too.

I will be eating a lot of these so taste does matter - I will buy some quest bars too.

3 days? I doubt that will impact anything even in the slightest.

If you need quick protein bars I mix 1/4 Cup Oats, 2 tbps Peanut Butter, Small amount of heavy cream, form bar and freeze.
