    Heating Amino Acids

Can you heat glutamine without destroying it? How about creatine monohydrate? Can anyone point me to scientific research showing that you can? Or maybe at what temperature breakdown occurs? This is for use for new supplement production. I cannot find anything but bro science on this.

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Heating up protein denatures the chemical bonds holding the amino acid sequence together (hydrogen bonds). Now heating an individual essential/non-essential amino acid(s)? I wouldn't see the reasoning behind it unless a specific thermal temperature is needed to conjure a stable solution not to mention the peptide bonds between each amino acid is generally unscathed.

Also the type of protein denaturation is variant upon it's composition (tertiary denaturing, quaternary denaturing, covalent stuff).

Creatine is not an amino acid rather an essential nutrient produced by the two essential amino acids glycine and arginine (technically it's an organic compound with qualities mimicking acidity, yet it contains a nitrogenous base).

Why do you want to alter glutamine's macromolecular shape?

You could drink it in a hot tea or coffee but I would drink it immediately and not wait hours to do so.

Splifton, I sent you a PM. I am really not at liberty to discuss much more of anything without having NDAs signed. This is a huge project that is just about finished. We are figuring out a few more details with US ran departments.

We could also still use some help from anyone who has qualifications as a nutritionist and organic chemist.
