Cheat days/meals as tools for muscle growth "in honor of thanksgiving"

Listen up yawl! Everybody freaks out when it comes to their diet during the holidays. But there are some ways to maximize muscle growth while also enjoying all of the food you want to enjoy!...
1: Hit a full body heavy compound workout pre food. If you smash your body and use the huge excess of calories within your anobolic window then you maximize the Ammount of growth you can achieve from all the food.
2: use all that extra fuel to hit a great workout the day after your holiday eating bendor! Carbs and excess food are energy tools for smashing workouts! You should have a great post cheat workout. Hit some sprints! Some full body movements like dead lifts again just like the day before.

Doing this will shock your body and your metabolism and will allow you to maximize growth in the holidays and minimize guilt! Get huge! Be thankful! Happy holidays

I'm confused as to why you would recommend doing deadlifts on two consecutive days?

We dead lift everyday. It is the will and the way of the dead lift king. No, I agree. Don't dead lift two days in a row. I do suggest taking advantage of two intense workouts though.

To me. When u hit the holidays u should just be smart about it.

    It's easy!

Eat sweat potatoes not mash potatoes.
Turkey not ham. (Or more turkey then ham)
    Vegetables!!! All day long

    Or the other option
As long as it fits your macros your good.

^^^ not all of us can carry a scale with us and no how everything is cooked for that one but u can at least make good decisions

I do have to agree with you on your fundamentals used as I've always had a easy ride when I would periodize my carbohydrate intake. The massive surge in anabolism wouldn't be all too special when you try to hastily deplete intracellular glycogen stores and follow that with an overfeed. In order to create a hyper efficient nutrient uptake environment with refeeds/overfeeds you have to gradually taper your carbohydrate intake until you achieve true glycogen depletion. Going slower allows the metabolic system to acclimate and adjust to the external dietary changes that you are causing, but this also reduces the probability that catabolism will never fully begin. You never want to shock the metabolism or else it initiates a flight-or-fight response in anticipation for possible nutrient shortages.

Do you get a spill over affect when you go your route?
