If I decide I want to lower my bodyfat a little..

and I start carb cycling and change my diet to reduce bodyfat...

then, after I allow my diet to help me make changes...

If I need to do cardio, I will do it fasted, in the mornings for 30-60 minutes keeping my heart rate low ~125-130bpm. Directly, I will walk at 3mph on an incline of 10. I do this 3-4 mornings a week at that point but I do not reduce my calories, like I said, I am carb cycling and eat at or above maintenance.

15/20 min fast walk on a treadmill after lifting. Only 2 or 3 times a week. Also only when I'm cutting.

Year round I run around and play with my dogs in the back yard to warm up before gym and on off days

I recently started doing 20 minutes either on the stair climber or on an inclined treadmill before lifting. Or an hour of low intensity (walking) on a treadmill or stationary bike on my off days. I feel overall it's improved my lifting too as I don't get as winded from heavy squatting or deadlifting.

cardio is my best tool for cutting. when cutting, i can go up to 6 d/week cardio 30-60 minutes. i'll do it either right after lifting or separately later in the day - i life in the morning.

when not aggressively cutting, i'll try to get 15m of cardio at least 3 days/w. i have a hip replacement and the 'cardio' is part of my therapy to keep my hip in good working order.

10 miles (60 mins - if I don't feel like doing it) or 15 miles (90 mins - when I am cool with doing it) a day on the bike in front of the 200". I had "Any Given Sunday" on yesterday, today's movie will be "The Running Man".

    Stairmill 100% for me.
It's the easiest on my knees and the most taxing cardiovascular workout out of all the machines in my opinion.
Usually do 20-30 mins of this after lifting.
