    Swollen legs, tips?

Been away for a while from the gym and wanted to catch up fast. So i went from my normal 100kg 10x10 deep squats to 60kg 10x10.
Felt great after, so I walked back home (around 5km).
Now I got shitloads of pain (muscle) and swollen, can't even sit down without using my arms.

So my question is. Any tips for reduce pain and swelling so I can do my deadlifts?^^ Except NOT do deadlifts at all and rest/ eat ofc..

Did a massage yesterday (4 hours after workout), I'm scared that it might make it worse from the feel of it. Will try warm compresses.
Normally I get sore 3 days after workout for legs, this just took a couple of hours. But the pain is just in the muscles.

Don't have them evolved legs yet. But as you can see I got two "balls" above knees. And the "rectus femoris"(?) on both legs are rockhard and warm.

Drink lots of water, foam roll, stretch, and walk or ride an exercise bike.
However... You are going to be sore no matter what you do.

Well you said you havent hit it a long time and you just beat it out of the frame first day back so you had to know you were looking for trouble

massages are good just to get the muscle going and keep it loose which is important

like dog said also walk, stretch, really you wanna do anything to stop it from being stiff at this point

You can actually get a regular rolling pin from the kitchen if you want
lotion up your leg and roll it out

Try some ibuprofen. That should help with the pain some.

I went with Ibuprofen, Voltaren and a 5km walk. I couldn't bend my legs so I rly looked like a had a 48 inch turd stuck in the batman cave^^ Took a while but I managed to
get myself to the gym and hit shoulders atleast. But can't bend enough for my deads. World issues....
