Need advice regarding steroid acne

I started my first cycle in late June
I ran it for 20 weeks and finished at the end of October
I used 600mg test e for 20 weeks and 400mg deca for 11 weeks
Convinced myself that I didn't need AI because when I used it I felt no different so I only ended up using about 15 adex tabs the whole cycle.

I decided to stay on instead of doing PCT
By this point my acne was quite bad, had it on my back, shoulders, arms and neck
I had a little bit of back acne and occasional arm acne before steroids but not much
From November until now I've been using 250mg test e (12 weeks)
I thought my acne would decrease by lowering the dose but it actually made it worse
I've been on accutane for 4 weeks now and I'm considering my options

Would 6 months of accutane (60mg per day) be enough to clear up acne all over my torso?
I am afraid to come off 250mg test because changing the dose or doing PCT could cause acne to worsen again

If I was to get fully clear while on low dose of test, is it likely I will stay clear once I finish my accutane course?

You should get some bloods done to see where you're levels are at. 60mg of accutane is a heavy dose and hard on the liver. I know docs prescribe it way higher but I also know low dose like 20mg/day work well for cycle acne. All in all, if accutane hasn't benefitted you yet there might be more to it. Bloods will tell you everything you need to know....
And for f**k sakes, drop the test and PCT. you did a ridiculously heavy first cycle. You need to give your body a break man!

A friend suggested this for me to try and I did, worked out pretty well for me you just have to be consistent. Mix half a spray bottle of witch hazel and half with rubbing alcohol shake it up, spray then rub it in. It drys your skin out a little but it worked for me. Hope it helps

I'm with RigPig. If accutane hasn't helped by now you need to get it checked. If you have insurance go to a dermatologist. Blood disorders can cause bad acne. Good luck!

Davy ur profile says you are 20 yrs old, acne should be the least of your worries. I hope you didn't fvck yourself permanently by cycling so heavy and so young.
There is only one way to find out, blood work.....

^^this! Acne Is the least of your problems -- OP 20 yrs old and going on an 8th month first cycle?!?! You definitely need BW asap, and how do you feel? Tired lethargic high BP(elevated)? itd be very wise to stop this cycle and hit a heavy pct(maybe after BW you may have to look into the power pct(Dr Scally - Scally's power pct) it's a last resort if needed... And the length of time is most important when it comes to recovery! So a 16wk cycle is a pretty lengthy cycle your going on 32wks about... Are you competing of making money off your body?

avoid accu at all costs IMO. do soem runs with heavy antibiotics before resorting to that nasty crap... even years down the road the sides can come up, on a genetic level. should noteven be on market IMO...

Dude. I'd drop the test run some sorta pct. Drink milk thistle. Take 2 showers a day USE nizoral shampoo for body wash this works amazing with hormone acne. I did have this same issue but now I'm running heavy cycles acne free for about a year now. Oh and btw I ran accutane and it just made my acne worse and I was very depressed.

If it hormonal acne, which it sounds like it, you have to come off. Accutane also usually makes it WORSE before it clears it up. I would come off. Get bloods. Assess the damage. Then choose your next course of action. If you would have cycled properly (ai,pct etc) this may have been avoided. It's life man, chalk it up as a learning experience. Come off the hormones and get your health back to where it should be at your age.
