Hi all,
I'm just getting over a nasty bout of man flu and I am scheduled to get blood work tomorrow. I'm currently off cycle. Does anyone know if this will make any difference to my blood values, should I re-schedule it a week later?

What values are you concerned with in this blood work? Is it a post-cycle check or just general wellness? With the information you have thus far I would say there is only a chance your white blood cell count will be higher because of the sickness if it is still actively being combated.
It won't effect your sex hormone levels if that's you're question.

						Hi RangerDanger,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, the blood work is a post cycle check, LH, FSH, Total Test etc. I don't expect my values to be great as I started with borderline low test, so I kinda wanted to use these results to decide whether to pursue TRT at this stage, just hoping not to skew the results by being ill.
What is man flu?

						man flu = influenza
It's jokingly referred to as man flu as typically men find it harder to manage the symptoms than women and therefore insinuates it is in some way worse than normal flu.

It's just a term I grew up with and it sounded funnier than writing "A bad cold".
Google's definition :
Man flu is a pejoratively used phrase that refers to the idea that men, when they have a cold, exaggerate and claim they have the flu. Whilst a commonly used phrase in the UK and Ireland, it is referred to in other cultures and there is a continuing discussion over the scientific basis for the phrase.
Ah, I see it's mainly a commonwealth thing...lol
