I admired Ronnie as a champion
Loved how he lifted so heavy
Now I hold him in the highest regards because when asked if he had any regrets now, he said "Yes that I only got 2 reps instead of 4" (referring to his 800lb squat)

    RONNIE THE KING

I pray for a speedy, complete recovery!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Could not have said it better myself. This man is the coolest guy I have ever heard speak. He never gives up no matter what look at the pain he is in and when I saw him last year he looked in real pain when he walked around the expo but still kept going and had a seriously big smile on his face.

Always loved this guy... What a personality!!

@ BG - that was one of the best quotes I've ever heard(regarding the 800lb squat for 4 instead of two) he said it was the coward in him that stopped! Great outlook on life... Period!

No, thats a elbow injury, dont remember the name. Some ppl develop it from elbow overuse. It gets calcified.

Could be a big olecranon bursitis, although this one is pretty huge, also looks more solid and less fluid. BTW, Val Kilmer had a nasty/similar one in the movie "Heat", always cringe when I see it. Is he recovering from back surgery here or the hip replacements?

Aside from the fact that he can't walk on his own, he looks in pretty good shape and not just for somebody who is 52. I don't think there are too many old men out there that wouldn't want to look like him (supposing they could still walk).

Love this old-school mind-set. There must have been extensive damage going on - this is a long hospital stay and very conservative therapy. I wish him the best with his recovery.
