    Muscle memory

I'm just curious since I got cancer I lost it all cause I laid in bed for two months and everything I'm back to lifting daily and I used to be shredded af and looked great and was curious how long you guys think it will take to get back to what I was at, lost my abs and I have fat now but I only weigh 136 and I was 140-143 when I was shredded I'm hoping maybe by August :/ ?

No one can know for sure how long it will take, but it will definitely take less time the second time around. Your strength should return pretty quickly as long as you are eating right, and when you start pushing heavier weights again your body composition will follow. What exactly does your training history look like?

What do you mean exactly? I never went super heavy that often I focused on form and control and contracting and holding it a lot of times but then I'd pick up 50 lb Dumbbells and curl them for 6 and stuff like that just cause my ego but I mean now I'm curling like 30s 6-8 times used to be able to do 20 pull-ups now can barely do one.

When you lift the body adjusts and adapts to the stress being placed upon it. This means forming new neurological connections, establishing new electrical pathways, greater recruitment potential, adjustments in intracellular organelle composition, etc. All of these adaptations are what is meant by "muscle memory" your body is in a way primed for an easier comeback. So when you resume lifting again the road per say is already built and hence its much easier to reach your last destination.
