Few questions about my PCT. Any insight would be great!

    Hey,

I'm 26 and did my first cycle of Test E at 500mg/week for 12 weeks.
I'm 2 weeks into my PCT of Nolva and Clomid, Nolva 20mg + Clomid 50mg daily.

My main question, is do I need to be running both Nolva and Clomid for the mild cycle I did? I've heard that Nolva can make one feel lethargic and weak, and I'm definitely feeling this at the moment but this could just be because I'm 2 weeks into my PCT?!

The first week was definitely alot better than this.

Anyone else had this experience or could shed some light?

500 mg/week for 12 weeks is NOT a mild cycle, your HPTA system is completely shut down atm, and yes it is not a choice whether to PCT or not. Your testosterone level is low atm and your hormone levels are all messed up so you need time to recover and it is normal to feel what you are feeling, just complete your PCT and have a blood test 6 weeks after it.
Just to be sure, did you use HCG and AI on cycle, and if yes did u stop them when PCT ?

Yep, did both! But haven't done HCG since starting my PCT.

Is there any harm in running both nolva and clomid then? I'd rather be safe than sorry, so if running both would be more beneficial I'll do that

nope no harm, its good to run both clomid and nolva during pct. good job doin HCG on cycle also! should help recovery.

what you are feeling are the PCT 'blues'... everyone has it to a different effect cuz ur not 'on top of the world' with test anymore

Cheers dude That's good that it's normal, hopefully it gets easier.
There are quite a few people I've spoken to that both ran HCG on cycle and didn't, and all of the people that didn't run it still recovered fine even without HCG. Just thought that was unusual, as HCG is supposed to be the wonder drug at geting normal test levels back

exactly !! Ur test level could have reached 2500+ while on cycle which will give u an enormous boost in energy and confidence "top of the world" mode as lemonada8 said. After waiting 14 days, Test E cleared out from ur body and u have near to zero test then u started PCT so assume ur test level is now close to 100 (this is an estimate just for explanation) ---> ofc u will feel lethargic since ur test level is nowhere near to what u had 3-4 weeks ago.

hcg is not a wonder drug just one more measure to be as safe as possible giving an even better chance at recovery....one or more may be lying no one likes to admit failure...and definitely ED if that's the case...

Well one guy didn't use HCG, and said he did experience ED for awhile. It eventually bounced back though apparently
