nursing two hip replacements and increasingly severe arthritis in knee and shoulder. have cat scan for shoulder to check glenum size - if it's already too small, it's too late for a shoulder replacement. heads up for those of you with shoulder arthritis - pain is an insufficient criteria for replacement. check glenum size via cat scan to see if such is still an option.
also, just finished the best cycle of my life and doubled my bench from 6@315 to 12@315. put on 20 good pounds (225 to 245) in 3 months. felt strong as an ox and had the gorilla gut to go with it. alas, my wife thought i was too big and offers incentives (;-)) if i cut back to 225. let the cutting begin. at least once in my life i was lifting big boy weights! haha.
all that, and i've been snoring so much that i have to sleep in another room (to preserve the marriage). i was diagnosed with a deviated septum and had the surgery yesterday. i'm now looking at two weeks of no gym (and no sex). OMG, how am i going to survive?!?
the only upside is that my joints will get a break.
no worries, though... i'll be back.
