    Needle left in a glute

Used one of those spring needles. Had no problem for 6 weeks.
Today when injecting in glute noticed oil coming out looked at it and there was no needle.
    Did this happen to anyone?
If yes what did you do?
    Thanks

Why don't you just buy idiot-proof needles like the rest of us?

I would think you would feel an 1.5" needle. Have you checked the site for any tenderness or pain?

The more you have going on, the more chance you have for issues. Good luck on the needle. Palpate the area and see if you can feel anything. Not necessarily sideways but all angles. If it's in there you're going to have to seek medical help. I can't imagine a non invasive way to remove it unless it's near the top where you could grab it with a hemostat or tweezers. Make sure you sterilize the site as well as the instruments too.

Damn if its there just go to surgeon and get it removed the right way. Last thing you wanna do is to operate yourself and risk something fatal
