Conner may beat him up a little in round one but Diaz will whether the storm and submit him in round two or later

McGregor might have got the 'W', but it's not what you'd call a convincing victory. Not only did he not produce the 2nd round knock-out he predicted (or any knock-out for that matter), he only managed not getting knocked out himself by repeatedly running away from Diaz (still can't believe Big John let him get away with that). This was only the third fight in his career that McGregor didn't finish his opponent, only second time that McGregor has been taken the distance, and the previous occasion was a unanimous decision victory in a 3-round fight. And if any of the three judges had changed so much as 1 point on their cards, Diaz would have won. That's as slim as a margin of victory can get.
