Ive been out of contact quite a while. Im back in the US for a short time, and will be leaving for somewhere in the Middle East. Can anyone who has lived in the region comment on how easy it is to get quality non-counterfeit protein and other supplements?

Haz, ohhh we have a comedian on our hands here. Where Im going access to certain foods is completely impossible to get. But rather, I am looking for a high cal, high carb, weight gainer because of the heat in the area, I need to stay hydrated but Ill be burning A LOT of calories everyday, so I need a real excess.

Kel, where I was staying, it was absolutely beautiful. I actually hope to make my way back there, and am even thinking about buying an apartment in the capitol, depending on whether or not things calm down a bit. The week before I left a car bomb killed a journalist very proximal to where I lived. And now there are 40k Russian troops at the border. Its a tenuous situation there, but they're quite resilient people and forge ahead no matter what.

Ive lost quite a bit of weight because of my working hours and conditions, I am now quite skinny, and while not at square one, am at a point where I can build myself back up from the base I have. Im no longer interested in being huge, I need to focus my efforts on a more athletic physique, granted, I still want to fill out my shirts, etc.

I would ask, you guys cant get care packages when deployed? You might not be able to get it through that particular country's mail, but through the forces I would think.
