Going onto HCG should I lower test dosage?

My current protocol is 100mg testosterone cyp every five days with .25 Arimadex every four days which keeps me stable at desired BW range. I plan to pin 250 or 500 iu HCG every other day. Assuming this will kick start my nearly entirely atrophied testicles and raise my natural levels, should I alter my testosterone injections? Arimadex remains the same? I am 64 years old.

Dosage sounds a bit too high, go for 250IU two times a week -top, or you risk spiking your estradiol more than anything.

It will raise levels a bit yet not so much to need a dose adjust, but you need to keep an eye on E2 (estradiol) as arimidex might effectively require adjustment, but you need to base this on bloodwork.

There's no need to pin HCG EOD. Just pick two days a week and start it. Personally, I'd go with 250 iu's and check BW in a month. I would not change your T dose until you see what effect the HCG has on it, if any at this point. If not seeing positive results after a few months then consider upping the dose a bit. Remember, HCG can also effect your estrogen levels so pay attention to them.

When it comes to your Adex administration, just take it on the day you inject and you should be fine. Makes it much easier.

This is it. My doctor didn't even know hcg will raise your estrogen. He wanted me to 1000 iu a week lol

Op, a caveat to what I said above is that a few of the top docs are recommending low dose daily administration of HCG. 100 iu's or so per day. Personally I don't think it's necessary and if I'm going to inject something on a daily basis it ain't going to be HCG.....

I wanted to add this link in previously but was a bit rushed. Good read on the actual effect HCG can have:

Exactly what I have been doing for years. 100iu/day along with my 12mg/day Test C.
