    looking for options and resources

50 years old. My T is running below 300. My DOC is fear mongering taking any T. He was fine with me taking supplements. Took T-Bomb for a while and that helped my mood a bit. AM now taking 4-andro MAX from IML and will try ULTRA MALE RX from IML. Not sure if the andro/prohormone is giving me what I need. I am looking to change my physical appearance. 6ft1 230 (put on about 10lbs taking the andro) I am not interested in doing the injections if I can avoid it. I'd like to get rid of the 42 gut (yes i know the diet needs work!) But Im not getting the results in the gym either. I'd like to have biceps bigger than 15 and 3/4.

What can I get started with, without going full tilt with a whole bunch of different pills.

get blood work, if T is low ask for trt, if he says no you make a request to an endocrinologest specialist and you are likely to have better luck there. he cant say no at that point, if he tries to you make it clear (docs forget), they work for YOU, not you for them and if something happens to you health wise you want him to sign a paper or copy of document of you requesting hormonal help and him declining and liability/malpractice may be an issue" mention it as nice as you can but be blunt at the same time.

btw non of this will help your diet issues if that is the main thing and may be. and hate to break it to you but injects are the safer and more efficient way to go with this so might as well accept it if you go that way.

Hello Tc. And welcome to the forum! Go to another doctor. The one you're dealing with probably doesn't know anything about hormones or he would gladly help you. There are gels available that will help but in my opinion, injections are the only way to treat low T effectively. Supplements are not an effective way to raise testosterone levels. Good luck bro!

Thanks thats what i figured. I was hoping to find a good fix in a pill. I'd really like to have something for growth as well. Will the injections do that or am i looking for other steroids for that.

If there was a quick fix in a pill, everyone would be pre contest bodybuilders

Welcome and until you get your DIET right you won't see much progress. You need more than hitting the iron bro CARDIO! Wat worked when we were 20 don't work now! Both diet and cardio.

Thanks Songdog. I know those 2 quite well. I wasn't looking for a quick fix as much as I was just hoping something was out there to work with what I am doing. The gym is the easy part, the diet I need to own better!

I agree with many of the comments above. Seriously talk to your MD about TRT or possibly find and endo doc in the area that is willing to do some blood work and help ya out.

Any good workout routine needs to begin with a good clean diet and a dedicated cardio and strength routine. Welcome to the board and good luck.
