I see it recommended to get various blood work, and people posting their blood work. Are you simply telling your family doctor you're doing steroids and need the blood work? How are people obtaining this blood work?

I have the same concern, I live in Canada also, and Dr's will only send you for the standard stuff, and only send you for full blood work unless there's a medical concern. I was seeing specialist that did full blood work but stopped seeing her cause I missed an appointment and tried to charge me $200 for it, so didn't go back. Now it's back to my Dr.,ive told him I tried steroids before and freaked out on me so doubt he's going to help me.
Anyone else in Canada know of any private clinics that will do whatever bloodwork you want without the hassle of Dr's that won't help you?
If you live near the border like I do (Vancouver) you can pop across and get blood work at a private lab for cheap.

OP, not sure what your relationship with your doctor is, but I would feel him out
on steroids before I mentioned them to him, even on TRT they ask me why i
want my estro checked or test levels, some docs might co operate..
A work mate, doesnt do steroids, but went on a high fat/ protien diet, explained it to his doc and he
monitored all his vitals, kidneys, lipids, liver...dont know what youd do to get test or estro
checked, but be creative and you might get him on your side
OP I live in Canada went through the same thing - made a few threads on it. After much research I realized that:
1. My GP and many others here will not give me the needed tests as they are expensive and I don't have an "immediate need" for them
2. We do not have access to the same easy to use labs as the US
3. Next time I'm in the US I am getting bloodwork done at a private lab that e-mails the results for my records.
4. Getting the proper bloods here is NOT as easy as people seem to think
im on TRT so I have two doctors y family doctor like most don't touch hormons in Canada its not there job , my internatl lab doctors that's all he does but I no longer deal with him and cannot get bloods even from my family doctor even though im on TRT its stupid here
