Zinc supplementation

Anybody here supplement with zinc? I started and it made me vomit a couple times. If I cut the pill in half it doesn't. I couldn't tell the dosage off hand but I believe it's 50mg, so when I cut it in half I'm getting 25mg.

Anybody else have this side effect?

Are you taking it on an empty stomach? If so, that's likely the culprit. Zinc is better absorbed on an empty stomach, but can definitely make one nauseous. You might try the sublingual lozenges.
