Couldn't stand the 3 foot long 21g needles my doc recommended so I got a bag of 29g 5/8" insulin needles and they've been working much better for me. I'm injecting at 90° straight into my upper quads burying the needle completely with additional slight pressure to go a bit deeper. My quads are pretty lean. Not sure if it even matters, the only reason I'm asking is because sometimes I give my legs a rest and inject into my dealts and I'm pretty certain the needle is in muscle there and I've read that subQ vs IM injections will absorb at different rates so I want to stick to the same program and avoid unnecessary spikes or what not.
