First Cycle Critique - Test E

    Hi All

    Bit of info on myself:
    Age - 27 (training for 10 years)
    Height - 6'5"
    Weight - 210lb
    BF - ~17%

So after much research I have decided I will be going with a Test E cycle for my first attempt. I was initially looking to add Dbol but was talked out of it for a first cycle and convinced to stick with Test only. Looking to put on some muscle and not look outrageous, just better than my genetic limits that I seem to have got fairly close to reaching after trying numerous things with diet and training.

    The proposed cycle is:
    Weeks 1-12: Test E at 500mg per week (250mg Monday, 250mg Thursday)
Weeks 1-12: HCG at 250iu twice weekly
Weeks 1-13: Arimidex at 0.25mg eod
    Week 14: Nothing
PCT: Nolvadex at 40/20/20/20 and Clomid at 100/50/50/50

Please give feedback on the above plan. If anything looks a bit off or improvements can be made then I'm all ears. There's so much conflicting info flying around it's difficult to get everything together even for a simple cycle like this. Cheers in advance.

You obviously did some research which is commendable.
Personally, I always use NAC on cycle for the liver.
Now you have the AAS side figured out, you need to have a correct diet otherwise this is all a waste and you will not obtain the max results. You will also lose the results quickly. The diet section has some super gurus that can assist. I personally would recommend to take your TDEE and add 250-500 calories.

Luckily I have already been using NAC for a while just for general well-being, so that’s no problem.

Diet advice I am definitely seeking as I’ve been on a mostly keto diet recently with good results, however I wasn’t sure how that would go with the gear?

Be sure to get blood work pre, during and post pct. It really helps you learn how your body handles AAS and give you baselines to see how you recovered. If in the states take a look at discounted labs or private md labs as they have packages already set up that are quite cost effective.

one of the benefits of running gear is you greatly increase the bodies ability to store muscle glycogen. Being on keto is going to negate this benefit (unless your only wanting to cut)... Carbs drive glycogen into muscle cells and bring with them Amino acids, the building blocks of muscle,, if your on a no carb diet you'll loose these additional muscle building benefits.

looking at your stats, I would say that adding lean muscle mass should be your number one goal of any cycles you run over the next year or so (if you were 10% bf at 6'5" you'd prob only weight 180 pounds bro, you need more muscle mass, this will help with cutting bf latter on as well). Keto is not going to benefit you on cycle to put on muscle mass . Up the carbs and grow

Thanks GearHeaded, awesome advice and exactly what I was looking for. I thought that might be the case regarding keto and AAS.

I agree definitely looking to put on lean muscle mass should be #1 priority, I just don’t want to blow out too much because I ride some motocross and I’m already outside the ideal height/weight range for that, so heaps of extra weight is going to hinder that. I don’t ride pro or anything but I enjoy it so I’m trying to strike that balance of being able to enjoy the things I like while having the physique I want which at 6’5” is easier said than done haha

just keep aromatization and water weight/bloat to a minimum and you won't "blow up" too much and can lean bulk and put on quality mass
