BTW, the "gun show loop-hole" (which apparently was the topic of conversation at this city council meeting), if you didn't know, is a lie.

Every firearms law that pertains outside of gun shows also is in effect inside the gun show. What democrats/progressives/liberals/socialists [pick one] are really complaining about is the fact that gun shows bring large numbers of gun folk together, giving them opportunity to sell and trade guns individually among themselves, which means no FFL is required, nor is a background check.

From a legal standpoint, it's no different from the same two individuals meeting in the parking lot of the Piggly-Wiggly and transacting the exact same deal, but you don't hear anybody protesting about gun sales in the parking lots of Piggly-Wigglys.


So when the gun-grabbers say "gun show loophole," what they're really complaining about is the Right to Peaceful Assembly, a human right acknowledged and enunciated by the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. Which again illustrates the point that the Second Amendment exists so the First Amendment will continue to be honored.

Why is it you claim they can buy a gun at gun shows when they can't buy then elsewhere?

My experience is that it is harder for me to buy a gun at a gun show than at a store. I am several databases from my military clearance, SEC and medical licence so I am about every 3 guns I buy I have to wait 3 days. I have a few police friends that have the same issue due to being in the military and on the law enforcement data base. The only real loophole is the tax savings at a gun show.

They say gun show loophole due to the fact that it is catchy and so many people are just stupid and believe whatever the media says or the liberal left.
