How do i find a smart doctor?

Any tips on looking for a primary care physician who is knowledgeable about aas and their effects on the body? Not looking for trt, just don't want them freaking out about test results that might be normal for someone who's on cycle. Not on right now, so im thinking long term here.

That's a tough one. Most will be clueless quite honestly. They're not really trained in hormones in med school. Now an endo or Uro would be more specialized but again, they don't have real world knowledge of hormones at all unless they've taken a personal interest. Also you need to be careful what and how much you say to a doctor as it may make it into your file, which you don't want.

When it comes to blood work on cycle you can always just pull it yourself via sites like www.discountedlabs.com or www.privatemdlabs.com. There are a few states that don't allow it but the majority do. It's much cheaper than you'd think. Just fill out the request on line and then go to your nomal Labcorp, etc.

Thanks! I'm up on private lab services for blood work, my concern was more oriented towards having to visit a doctor for something while blasting and wanted someone who would be able to understand what was going on instead of pulling bloodwork and immediately freaking out thinking im just a mess.
Thanks again for the response, trying to do the next cycle right (bloodwork, cycle support, etc...) And this one is kimda stumping me.

Your best bet may be word of mouth through gym friends, etc. Someone there may have a doc that's open to discussion and helping and doesn't have a heart attack at the mention of a cycle.....

Those types of doctors are so rare and it's so sad man.
My primary looked at my trt bloods and saw my 1400 test level and bugged out saying he can't do bloods for me anymore ...
Mind you he knew I was on trt for health reasons .

They are so scared of their rep etc...
But in reality doctors are suppose to help you no matter what decisions you make.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but it doesn't seem to be the case.

If you get sick, go to urgent care. If you want to see your BW, use a private lab.

Yep you got the idea. I have insurance for the first time and id like to have a doc that i can be honest with. I have a medical background so i know how important full disclosure is for proper medical care.
