    Injected in the wrong spot

Took my shot about 20mins ago, it was hard enough to push in and pretty sore sharp pains, pulled back on the syringe no blood so went ahead, pull it out slowly and felt pain in the injecting area so I went looked in the mirror and seen it was nearly center of my cheek, pretty much in line with where my sciatic nerve should be running through, tried looking it up but can only find that intramuscular injections can cause damage overtime to the nerve but couldn’t find anything on actually injecting through it, should I be okay or am I gonna wake up paralyzed below

    Thanks

the amount of anxiety some of you guys get over a single injection is hilarious (no disrespect OP, just an observation) .
in the last 24 hours I've injected myself about 10-12 or so times (I've spot injected gear in both heads of my biceps, lats, pecs, rear delts, and sub q shots on top of that). I can't imagine stressing out and worrying over such a simple procedure.

I think you'll be ok there brother

Sciatic will send a shooting pain down your ass and into your leg the second you hit that fucker and if you damage it enough it'll fuck you good. Like the god himself decreed, you would know it for sure.

You don't wanna go in the center of your glute that's where you'll run into more blood vessels and increase likelihood of hitting a vein (at least this was the case for me) so best to inject in the side of the glute not the middle. A good rule of thumb is feel where the top of your femur is and go about 3 inches over from there into your glute, should be the SIDE of your glute not the middle. The only time I've drawn blood into syringe from glute injection is when going too far in the middle...
