Anavar effect on SHBG

Looking to add an oral steroid to free up some test. Would anavar be the best one to decrease SHBG?

Var will definitely help do that . but its the most expensive way to do that . things like Proviron, Mast, and Winny will also decrease SHBG but at a much lower price point (especially the Winstrol).

Keep in mind that SHBG binds up DHT more then any other hormone . so while lowering SHBG will free up a bit more test, it will also free up a lot more DHT (that could be good or it could be bad depending on your situation)
