    Alternatives to oatmeal

    Hello guys,

So I’m curious if anyone eats anything other than oatmeal and eggs for breakfast. For example I like eggs and bacon. I’m sure there are some that don’t like that and I understand. I just have always enjoyed those things for breakfast. Plus you can cook eggs so many ways. I never have like oatmeal so I’m appreciate hearing what others might eat instead for breakfast.

    Thanks again

Fruits, rice, potatoes of any sort, a decent bread, literally any carb source. It sounds more like you’re eating oats just because, rather than for any specific micronutrient, so pick a carb source that agrees with you and go with it.

Good advice..I try to stay away from bread but do have 2 slices Ezekiel bread in morning with my eggs..it's sprouted grain bread and as far as I know lowest gi bread out there..love oats but the bloat me, you gotta find what's right for you like gallow said above..potatoes and rice digest well for me..fruit is always good anything unprocessed..

Thanks guys for the advice. In the past I’ve eaten Ezekiel bread and that wasn’t bad. I’ve also thought about a small sweet potatoe with my eggs. I really like most all fruits and vegetables. I’ve read a lot about how many people don’t eat fruit when they are cutting so I wasn’t sure if everyone tried to stay away from fruit.

Fruit just doesn't get you fat like processed sugar different kinds and fiber..make smoothies after workouts and fasted even throw a egg or two in or egg whites..

Quinoa with some almond milk and maple syrup (a little) or not. Full fat yogurt with blueberries and topped with granola. Hot or cold.

    Sweet potatoes.

    Potatoes

    I love me my oatmeal.

Eating eggs with oats every day is really nauseating

Steak, 2 eggs, cheese and butter is a good alternative.

You can also try and switch up the type of oats you're eating if you think that'll help (i.e. rolled oats vs steel cut oats) and you can also do something like cream of wheat or cream of rice if you're still looking for that warmer type of breakfast carb food
