Guys, I have a blood donation appointment booked for March, do I need to go off TEST/EQ for this? Also do I describe to the nurse what am I using at the moment when they ask? (I believe they do a full blood test anyways) anything I need to know?

Not at all. have donated blood several times and never had a problem
No on everything
Yes to I read everything
Yes to healthy to donate
Thanks guys, first time donation, didn't know what to expect...cheers
There are two types of donation centers, donation and research. The second will accept your blood no matter what you answer to the questions, they use it for research not putting it back into human supply. The first sends it right to where it is needed. The Red Cross is an example. If you donate to a Red Cross, for instance, those questions are a little important. Particularly if you are on a medication that could hurt the receiver. In some instances, a medication you might be on, like Finasteride, which causes birth defects, would make a person with a conscious to seek other ways of getting rid of their excess blood.
This is y I use to do home bleedings
But, donating turned out to be much easier. I was always donating often when I was on a ton of gear - which now I def see as quite counterproductive
Now, I donate 2-4x per year - and, I’m not on much anymore
I served overseas in Germany & UK during the 80’s & 90’s. Mad cow disease outbreak (Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease) was rampant. The FDA deferred anyone from donating once shipped back stateside. My whole family is affected. A lot of GI’s got caught up in that mess.
It costs me about $200 locally for a therapeutic phlebotomy only for them to dispose of it before I even leave the infusion center.
First I want to say for the record: don’t lie about stuff as in my situation. That’s a whole different ballpark when it comes to whole blood and the health of others. It was a snide wise crack at the FDA after 30 years. The ban hasn’t been lifted so I still play by the rules! No horns popped out of my forehead yet...

All blood is screened, they can't just take your donation then fuck it in someone els and believe you told the truth.
There was a big deal here in the uk with hep b in the 90's i am sure it was or late 80's in to the 90's It never came to light until several years ago and it was contaminated blood given to ppl during transfusions. Back then it was not screened but severely is now.
So there would be no chance or very difficult to get contaminated blood giving to you. Well we hope.
I donate every three months i have missed the last two -three as my haemoglobin was high so they refused me. I am on TRT and it has this on my slip and i am passed to donate.
Understood, I know for fact that blood is tested before supplying to hospitals, was just wanted to confirm if lying about the use of gear is okay as they will know after the blood is tested that my test levels are way high so I am using test... Saying that I was worried that as they will have my record they might refuse to take the blood next time (or take other actions) as I lied about the use of test?
I always think about what if my blood loaded with hormones gets used on baby burn victim or some shit. I've been doing home phlebotomy if I'm blasting. It just didn't sit well with me. One of the things Ive over analyzed in my mind as im thinking about being a piece of shit at 3 am. Trt dose I will donate. I actually like helping people. I see how people say it's counter productive to our goals as body builders but I can deny it makese feel better. Ill start to get dizzy and lethargic when my crit gets elevated.

There are clinics, here in US (IDK how it works anywhere else), that accept blood even if it can't be donated to mainstream. The use it for research. Every time I go they use the question form.

It would be completely inaccurate to assume that anything which would hurt a receiver is tested for, i.e. meds like Finateride. The truth is that blood is only screened for infectious diseases.
