Re-reading a book on the Lance Armstrong doping scandal written by one of his teammates who is very open about what was used.
Their doctors were from Europe. In 97 his first attempt was a clear fluid taken orally. The team called these red eggs which I believe refer to testosterone.
It didn’t pop up / get detected when tested 2 days later. He had drastically improved recovery and performance in 2 days as well. This was later to become a 1x per week or every week part of his regiment (not to close to race days) as well as EPO. HGH wasn’t used by the Americans yet.
