Many members here prescribe 10-20mg to block the estrogen receptors but this could not spoil the cycle by minimizing anabolic gains since Nolva decreases IGF-1?

    Hey Davi,

I think the answer to your question is yes but it shouldn’t spoil your cycle. Guys have been taking nolva on cycle for a long time and it hasn’t stopped them from growing.

I believe the studies done on nolva lowering IGF were done on women with cancer.. this is actually a good thing and positive benefit for them as IGF can promote the growth of cancer.

however with a bodybuilder on cycle , this slight drop in IGF is a drop in the bucket, or a "grain of sand on the seashore" .. it makes no difference because we have so much anabolic mechanisms up-regulated anyhow.
your taking a bunch of test and tren, your androgen and estrogen are elevated and progestin receptors etc. activated, your liver is pumping out plenty of IGF and a bit of Nolva is not going to make a difference.

GearHeaded, so this drop in IGF-1 does not qualify for bodybuilders who use multiple AAS?

Steroids increase IGF-1, so I shouldn't worry ok! Good to know, I read contradictory things that said I shouldn't use Nolva in the cycle if I wanted to grow..
