Lost a good friend to COVID last night

After about a 3 week battle with the virus, a dear friend i had finally went to be the lord. He was 87 years old and one of the kindest, sweetest men ive ever met in my life. Words cant describe the level of kindness my friend had.

So i say this, COVID in fact does take lives. Its definitely real. Its a very serious issue, i hope the vaccines work. I pray we find a way to beat this epidemic. I am very saddened by the loss of this man

I hope one day you'll be able to remember him with fondness while not feeling the pain.

Dang, sorry to hear this, Cuz and of course, prayers as you deal with this. Sounds like a hell of a great man; hold onto those memories!

    Sorry to hear

We had one COVID death near us just recently. It was a friend of a friend - I met her once, 38, your most average gal ever - dead, out of nowhere

We’re off to a great year

I appreciate every one of your responses. I always appreciate the forum family here. Its definitely a reality check for me. First person that has literally died from this virus close to me i knew it happened but still, that kinda thing is an eye opener.

Loss is hard. Upside is he lived more than 15 years more than the average person in USA.
