    Right sided back/flank pain

Have had this back pain for loke 2 to 3 months now. It's upper mid right-side. It's more like a deep dull ache. Kind of burning pain sometimes like if I burp if that makes sense. It comes and goes.

Only on trt right now with aromasin. That's all I'm taking. Went to my Dr and she did not seem concerned bit It's starting to worry me. Blood work showed kindey is functioning fine.

Any ideas what this could be?

Kidney pain starts in the lower back/flank, and the pain definitely doesn’t feel like a dull ache (it’s more like a sharp, jabbing pain).

I’ve been experiencing upper/mid back pain, and I found that it’s caused or worsened by my poor posture. It sucks...I couldn’t stand for too long without my upper back getting tired, and I’d often cut my cardio short for the same reason.

The muscles in the area get very tense and it helps to use a foam roller to release some of that tension. Night and day difference.

Do you notice that your upper back is bowed out? Does the pain go away when you take the load off of your back (by hanging, leaning forward, or some other method)?

Use the foam roller, and maybe schedule an appt with a chiropractor.

When’s the last time you took a rest from the gym? I haven’t gone for the past 2 days, after an extended period of daily exercise (no off days), and my pain is gone.
