    Pain while injecting

    Hello guys

I have an interesting problem. I've been using my quads for shots for 4 years straigth, went up to 5ml several times for weeks mostly without any issues or pip.
In spite of that, my last 6-8 shots were all painful. I inject each one of my quads only once a week so they have a week to recover.
I don't have any pain during the needle going in, but after I inject 1-1.5mls a dull pain comes out of nowhere and it gets worse and worse as I inject. Not so much pain, more like some discomfort, a very strange feeling that usually radiates to my knees as well. I have mild pip for 2-3 days, it's a bit swollen and on the second and third day after the injection sometimes a palm-sized area gets red and goes away on its own.

Any thoughts what could cause that? I use the same lab, same compounds. They changed oil a month ago, somewhen when this started for me.
Am I allergic to that oil or something?

Could be the carrier oil, could he breaking up of scar tissue. Hard to say really. Could be your body is fighting an infection somewhere else and our immune system is just taxed.

Like Moose asked, why no glutes or shoulders?

Most likely a change in Ratio in the whole compound brew as You have been using the same lab for years.

I had covid in the past 3 weeks, so it can add to that too.
Glutes were a nightmare for me, and delts are too small for 3-4-5ml shots, aren't they?

Covid might definitely have something to do with it…

I put 3 cc’s in my shoulders pretty frequently.

Glutes are usually the easiest place to pin…maybe revisit it. Quads are usually the toughest for me, if you can do those with ease, a butt cheek should be no problem

Upper outside quadrant 2-3” below the iliac crest

It was the covid, maybe my immune system was busy fighting with the virus, because my last 4 shots were totally problem free.
I hate glutes because I can barely reach them properly, and if I have severe pip, walking, sleeping and sitting is very painful too.
