Gonna probably be out of the country for a few weeks during the summer and IÂ’m curious about Nebido. My foreign source has it for an insane amount ($250 for 1 ampoule / 1000 mg). I hear it maintains pretty stable blood levels for a couple of months. It seems a lot better than injecting regular old test E/C every few days. Wonder why itÂ’s not prescribed more? I almost never hear anything about it. Anyone try it?

In many of the nordic countries nebido is the go-to for trt. They inject 1000mg every 6-12 weeks depending on bloods.

When it's prescription here as Aveed, it's only a 750mg dose and from what I'm hearing, many Drs. don't follow the recommended dosing protocol and stick with max interval for injections, so guys end up crashing and want to go back to cyp 2x/week.

Also, administrators of the injections have to complete the FDA required REMS training which I've been told comes out of the injection administrators pocket.

I think Kel was pretty accurate. During trials, they gave the injections, someone coughed so the FDA immediately freaked and cut the dose by 25% and went overboard worrying about oil forming a pulmonary micro embolism.

I’m either gonna try the Nebido or get these testosterone gel packets. I think there are 14 doses for $50, which isn’t too bad. I figure they won’t be worried about some of these little gel packets at the airport.

In my country - only nebido is approved for TRT and very restricted use even then (doctors cannot prescribe closer than 8weeks). My experience is that using it alone - the first 1-2 weeks i get super sleepy (the sudden increase in T), then i will get a good 4 weeks before suffering tiredness again for 2 weeks before the next jab.

The cost is high and i really dont like how it works, but then it is a legal source.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I guess there is no perfect way of going about TRT in the sense that maintaining the most stable blood levels requires frequent injections, whereas something like Nebido will bring about other issues. 4 weeks of feeling great is not bad. The tiredness feeling comes and goes for me as well. I went from injecting every 3 days, to every 4 days, to try and reduce the number of injections I do ( I also inject HCG). I've been getting a lot of large hard lumps doing sub q for some reason. It's all fun and games when you're on cycle, but when you just wanna live life, it's a another thing you have to remember to do, which is why nebido sounded great to me.

In theory, nebido sounds great, reality is that it isn't much of a luxury. Look to your friendly neighborhood UGL, never know, they might offer test u for free...as nobody wants it.

Doesn't Balkan or one of those euro companies make Test U? I know of at least one Canadian UGL that makes it.

Didn't even realize Nebido was just Test U. I checked the price list for the neighborhood UGL and don't see that on there, just deca-U.

I do see it on the website I was originally referencing under Test-U for $50 if I get it from europe, or $80 if I get it in the US. That's better than $250-300/ampoule, if it's real.

I remember performing the calculation for a loading dose of Nebido it was very very high. Like if you wanted a steady dose of 500mg/wk, then your loading dose was several grams. I can look at the spreadsheet when I'm at a PC later.
