    It's okay to use both at the same time, these people think that shitty creatine and caffeine will make a difference in their physiques...I'd rather spend my money on AAS anyway

    Wow, it’s been ages since I’ve spent money on creatine. I associate “shitty” with caffeine however as it works like a laxative for me.

    Who eats red meat already gets enough creatine! I've always found creatine in a supplement to be shit, I've never seen any difference.

    Idiot nutritionists claim this thesis that caffeine cuts the effects of creatine, based on flawed studies!

    Well, if you’re using AAS, creatine supplements effects are going to be minimized or not nearly as noticeable, but research does back its effectiveness. If your diet is spot on using natural foods, that will decrease your need for a lot of supplements like vitamins, creatine, heck, even protein powder to some degree.

    I get the controversy as both can cause GI issues particularly on an empty stomach. Caffeine is a diuretic & some folks like the water retention/ volume they get from creatine so I see where the claim might have come from.

    For me, if I’m dragging, caffeine is the strongest pre workout I’ll use. For morning workouts it’s an absolute necessity for me.

    Creatine only retains water inside muscle cells right?

    I assume so, but have heard of people saying that overall they feel they’ve retained extra water as well. If your not on AAS, to some the added volume might be desirable by making a person simply feel larger. So if you have to urinate all of the time because of the caffeine, I could see the basis for the opinion that the two don’t work well together. However as a pre workout the combo really is a win, win. The usage for creatine is ideal for lifting, but pales compared to what you get with AAS.
