New HBO biography on the skateboard rider Tony Hawk. I’m not a skateboarding fan, have never really watched him, just know his name/face. One of the better sports documentaries I’ve seen. The parallels of hardcore skateboarders like himself and what happens here on this forum don’t really start to become evident till the very end, but you can’t miss them. And oh yeah without revealing anything - one of the, if not the coolest sport’s moments I’ve ever witnessed ever (and I’m not even a fan).

Will watch this. I also recommend Dogtown and Z-Boys. It’s a documentary on the pioneers of skateboarding, how it started back in the day, etc.

Got my son a brand new SantaCruz board, I got on it & ate my shit a few times - he lost interest. Now it just sits & looks cool in the trunk of my car.
