ok newbie questions about rtr injections

So this is about trt dosing. Ive mentioned in other threads about getting a script and received single dose ampules. 200mg 1ml ampules to be exact. But for maintenance, Im supposed to be injecting 150mg/week. It was also suggested that I could split my doses up into two smaller injections each week instead of one to keep my levels more even throughout the week.

My question is: if I go the 2 smaller doses route, can I draw from a single ampule twice? If I'm careful to not puncture the septum in the same spot, is that a safe and accepted practice?

OR: Almost gone mentioned about drawing out the test and I guess putting the portion above my weekly does in a sterile vial with silicone septum, so maybe thats the way I would have to do this. Just need some guidance on this process. I assume I would draw out all the liquid from my ampule, then put the extra 50mg into a new sterile vial. Then after putting three 50mg portions in that vial, I could use that for my 4th injection?

Tried to find some resources online for this process but not much luck.

    TIA for the guidance!

Do you have ampules or vials? Ampules are typically glass or hard plastic and have to be broken to be used. Vials have a rubber / silicone stopper held in place with a crimped on metal ring. Ampules are single use, vials (even the ones labeled "single use") can be drawn from multiple times.

Great! Then I can do the two split doses a week with no issues. Thanks all!

Draw your doses all at one sitting. Use seperate syringes. Pharma containers are the most rediculous things ever. Never try to store in them once opened.

I have never had trouble storing in rubber stoppered type containers and Dr. offices use them all the time. What experience do you have that says I should change that? I do know to keep the vials out of light and extreme temperatures though.
