Testosterone and sense of smell

Hey,

Has anyone ever noticed a change in sense of smell or an odour when using test?

Not sure if it’s the test or the estrogen.

The more I increase my test levels the more the odour is noticeable. It’s something to do with my olfactory receptors I assume

Change in smell, not that I can recall. Might be chumming the waters extra while high on (bioidentical) testosterone. 19 nors might alter your pheromones, more showers may be needed on the more aggressive derivatives.

Are you saying that your body smells differently or that your nose works differently? It is hard to tell exactly...

Though either way, no, so maybe it doesn't matter lol

run tren and ur sweat will really stink. I do not know if its the smell that changes or its just so much more sweat on cycle that I notice it more.

Absolutely I have had an increase in my smelling abilities when on a heavy cycle, there is a scientific term for it actually. Women go through this in pregnancy but I believe it’s due to hormones being out of wack, high estrogen or whatever. Read up on it but I am glad it went away because a strong sense of smell can be nauseating

It was a thing back when covid just started. Basically people who don't even work out were looking into steroids to reverse the covid smell loss because of some studies. I think those were on corticosteroids not anabolics. Imagine an army of ripped guys in their 60s with covid and roid rage walking around smelling stuff aggressively.

Never noticed the effect myself tho. Just that I stink more because of extra sweat.

Hyperosmia. I have never experienced this. Anadrol: Epistaxis [nosebleeds] I do get.

However, immediately post injection you may get occasionally a taste of the carrier oil. Insulin also has a taste. Smell and taste are very much related.
