Blood Work Review Please 6 Months

    Hey everyone,

I just finished my six months on TRT, which has been a journey. Slight backstory, I'm 30 years old, 6'1, weigh 325, and have had 4-6 days of training per week and heavy dieting for 2.5 years. I could only lose about 30 lbs, and my doctor tested me for low T. Came back at 262. We started with the basic TRT protocol of 200mg a week and took blood at six weeks. My estrogen was super high, 86 to be exact, so we went on a .5 adex day of pinning and dropped it down into the 40s. Felt suitable for about six wee; I took my test because it was the 3-month protocol, which was at 600. My doctor asked how I was feeling, and I said average at best, so they moved me up to 250mg a week which is the maximum dosage. He wanted to try it for three months for it to get into my system, and I have stuck with it. I will post my current labs, but in the last four weeks, I have entirely lost libido, and I'm even having some ed issues.

    Any input is appreciated!

Thats a hefty dose of adex, it may have bottomed out your E.

I'm not peeping the pdf until I'm on my computer, but E too low would be my first guess, followed by elevated hematocrit, rbc and or hemoglobin.

    Will comment more later

Numbers look good aside from prolactin hormone wise your cholesterol could come down some.

You’re saying 250 pharm test only put u at 794 total? Seems very low unless you are doing an injection every other week or something. Test to estrogen ratio looks fine. Not sure why prolactin is high you could get that down. You also want to look at donating some Blood in the near future

Are you doing split injections or just one?

Also, with your weight stats , heavy dieting and training for 2.5 years is just not making sense to me posting your diet and workout routine would be helpful. Dieting through the numbers is very simple less calories in than your body burns in a given day equals weight loss now actually doing that is a little harder. What does your caloric intake look like?

Yes, these numbers are on the pharmaceutical test. I do x2 injections on Sunday and Thursday. My diet is set by my nutritionist. My workouts are usually following very specific programs like Jim Stoppani, Kris Gethin, Athlean X, etc.

As far as prolactin, I do have some caber here, but have no clue how or when to take it.

Id fire the nutritionist. Its not working.

1 week of caber at .25mg monday and Thursday would get your number back to normal.

I have .5mg pills; I'd love to fire her, and she is expensive. I'm currently eating 250g of protein, 200g of carbs, and 75g of fat. They are capsules, so I can't split them in half, would one per week work?

Your test numbers look good, depending on whether that was at a trough. I'm sort of done looking at Total in general and focus on Free T. Free is slightly over range, which is fabulous.

Your thyroid numbers look a little off to me, I would investigate that further. It is outside my wheelhouse, since some thyroid numbers are high and some are low. Be advised though that thyroid issues can sometimes masquerade as low T, so better to get into that sooner rather than later.

Prolactin is up there and probably the other source of your issues. You could do as Cuz suggests and hit it with caber for a week, and / or add some P5P and Vitamin E for ongoing prolactin control. Google will have the exact amounts on those.

Cholesterol numbers are not bad, but cleaning up your diet may help. Yeah, I saw that you have a nutritionist working with you, but something doesn't add up. Once again, I agree with Cuz that maybe you should kick her to the curb and just get a set nutritional plan.

    In short:
Fix that thyroid issue. The meds commonly used in treatment are inexpensive. This might also be way you seem to struggle to lose weight.
    Deal with prolactin.
    Tighten up diet and exercise.
