Looks like Rogue has live streams.......

....of some of the Arnold strength events.

YouTube 🔗 link to day 1 events...

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

That looks really cool, for their sport (I am guessing that is Strongman/woman competition.).

AS has really done a lot for the sport of BB and the fitness industry in general. He is such an icon, there is a guy out here where I live, he is a businessman (kombinator in Polish, a wheeler-dealer) and he is like obsessed with AS. He opened a small gym 6 mos ago, on the same property where he has a small steak and burgers joint; and he is going to have a small AS museum in one of the buildings. He is a collector of AS memorabilia... Way far out in the sticks; you would never believe it.

Great to see him endorsing (through his name, his brand) the sport, especially at his age.

Oh absolutely. The Arnold Classic has become a huge event for both bodybuilding and strength events!!! I tend to favor strength events, although I enjoy the bodybuilding side of lifting as well.

IIRC, there was a Pro Sport competition back in the late 70s/early eighties Schwarzenegger helped promote, but the Arnold Classic has really taken off since it started in The late 90s.

The guys/ladies that compete in it consider it a huge honor and the pay isn't shabby either.

Just a little more information. The competition is held on multiple continents at different times of the year and the list of competitors is lengthy.

    Just a brief overview:

A little about the strength events:

I admire Arnold for all his success. His drive, determination, and dedication is truly impressive. However, I can’t say I’m a fan of the guy. I’d be more than willing to bet he didn’t get as far as he has in life by being a good person. Also, the “screw your freedoms” comment did not sit too well with me.
