    sleeping pills effect on muscle?

Hey guys, I was wondering do sleeping pills have any negative effects on building muscle/cutting? Because I have a slight case of insomnia, and its pretty hard for me to get to sleep at night. So I use either nyquil pills or unisom. What do you guys think??

most sleeping pills are just antihistamines. These shouldn't have much effect on muscle growth. i take them occasionally, and i've been gaining without AS. just diet, sleep, and exercise.

It's not your nerves saying "hey i need blood" It's them saying "hey, you're pressing on me and inhibiting my ability to transmit chemical messages/electrical impulses!"
All the same, you're totally right. It can result in nerve damage, which in turn yeilds a decreased ability for you to lift well.
