I saw John Travolta today

Well as weird as it sounds Hollywood has come to Tampa. I work in Ybor and right next door to our building they are shooting the Punisher movie. The crew is using our parking lot for all the people on the set so we're getting daily sightings of actors, albeit I don't know who they hell they are. But I did happen to see JT this morning and a midget. I have no idea how the midget fits in but thought I throw that in as well. Pretty weird! What really amazes me is the amount of equipment they have.......no wonder it costs a fortune to shoot a movie.

So here I am each day working out in our gym and looking out the window watching all this going on. Hey, maybe they'll see me and will want me to be in the movie. I can see it now, I get my big break and make it into the movies...................they'll be finishing up a scene and the director yells cut then looks at me and says "you, yeah you big dumb looking guy.....that light goes over there and get me a coffee!". No way would my ugly mug ever make it onto the big screen. Hahahaha

And the midget, i cant remember any midget from the comic...are you sure there not making a kinky ass porno?

Man, I hope not Palme. JT in some kind of fake muscle suit……………oh that is just wrong on too many levels. If anything he has to be the bad guy (he makes a better bad guy imo). You might not be far off with the porno thing; there are a butt load of the finest looking women I've seen in one location at one time. There dressing room (trailer) is right outside my window so I've already seen boobies (he said boobies) and half dressed women. I have no idea how the midget ties in, maybe the toss him around in the movie or something.

I did make eye contact with him and got a wave but alas no offer to ride in the plane. Screw the plane I'll take the red head that just walked in! Holy crap...............she looks like Monica Brant with red hair! Damn I might have to rub one out right here at my desk! hahaha

I didn't even know they were making a punisher movie. I'm just pumped about seeing the next Batman movie because they casted Christian Bale, who starred in American Psycho, one of my favorite movies ever.

I haven't seen Nash but we might, it seems that everybody in show business here. We have over 400 hundred employees in my building and we take up about 1/2 of our four story parking garage, the filming crew has taken over the rest and have filled out an entire lot we have not built on yet (well over three to four acres). Hell their parking in the streets as well there are so many.

I found out that JT is the bad guy (way cool). The building they are shooting in is the Centre Astudiano (sp); it's a very old Cuban Heritage dance hall. I eat over there all the time and know the owner and family. They told me that they are using the bar area (which is huge) and filming it as one of the clubs the bad guys hang out at (or something like that). It is a pretty cool looking bar so they choose a great location. The owner (Tom) did actually rent it out too a couple for their wedding reception but shortly after the Punisher crew came in and said they wanted to use his place to shoot part of the movie. He called the couple and said he'd return their money but they could not use the hall. They got a lawyer and threatened to sue but he turned around and said here, here's a couple of thousand to find another place pulse the money you put down (which was only $300). He is a very cool guy and did not want to screw anybody over but he could not pass up the chance to get his place in a movie, I don't blame him at all. I told him to let me know if they need any extras, I’d do it just for kicks.

thats cool................I have a friend who works security and I was able to be an extra in a couple of movies.........no money but at least I can say that I was in the movie Any given sunday, and 2 fast 2 furious.......yeah I know woop de doo....but its still cool....I got to meet Al Pacino and Oliver Stone

Just once I'd like to be in a large audience watching a movie and then scream “THAT"S ME behind that refrigerator on the other side of the room, well not this room but another room off to the side, you can't see me but I'm there!” hahahahah
