Spike your hair with toothpaste!

Little tricks to do with household products. Anyone else know any good ones to add?

Pam cooking spray will dry fingernail polish.
Pam will also remove paint, and grease from your hands!

Cool whip will condition your hair in 15 minutes.

Mayonnaise will condition your hair; it will also kill lice.

Body paint - Crisco mixed with food coloring.
Heat Crisco in microwave, pour into empty film
container and mix with the food coloring of your choice!

Spike your hair with toothpaste
(with Close-up tooth paste, it will also give it a tint).

Elmer's Glue - paint on your face, allow it to dry,
peel off and see the dead skin and blackheads.

Shiny Hair - use brewed Lipton Tea.

Sunburn - empty a large jar of Nestea into your bath water.

Minor burn - Colgate or Crest toothpaste.

Tie Dye T-shirt - mix a solution of Kool-Aid in a container,
tie a rubber band around a section of the T-shirt and soak.

Peanut butter - will get scratches out of CD's!
Wipe off with coffee filter paper.

Burn your tongue? Put sugar on it!

Arthritis? WD-40 Spray and rub in,
takes the itch out of insect stings, too.

Athlete's feet - cornstarch.

Bee stings - meat tenderizer. (this trick works for sting-ray and jellyfish stings as well)

Chigger bite - Preparation H.

Puffy eyes - Preparation H.

Paper cut - crazy glue or chap stick.
Glue is used instead of sutures at most hospitals lately.

Fungus on toenails or fingernails - Vicks Vaporub.

Kool Aid to clean dishwasher pipes. Just put in the detergent
section and run a cycle, it will also clean a toilet.
Kool-Aid also can be used as a dye in paint.
Kool-Aid in Dannon plain yogurt as a finger paint.
Your kids will love it and it won't hurt them if they eat it!

Sticking bicycle chain - Pam no-stick cooking spray.
Spray Pam on your car bumper to keep Love-bugs from sticking. (careful not to get it on the paint job)

Peanut butter will remove ink from the face of dolls.

When the doll clothes are hard to put on, sprinkle
with corn starch and watch them slide on.

Stress buster -- preferably for a work group --
take a roll of scotch tape and a packet of straws
and build a tower without talking to each other!

knox gellatin is what i used to spike my hair when i had a mohawk.....mix i pack clear unflavored with 1/4 cup of water heat in the microwave for a minute and apply. That shit will hold if you go swimming ride a motorcyclewhatever...i even made a guy bleed by ramming a hair spikeinto hisarm at a concert one time.

Old mechanics trick...

When your hands are covered in grease from mechanic work, do not get your hands wet, just use a BIG squirt of liquid diswashing liquid and lather up WITHOUT WATER. Work it into the skin until it almost turns into a messy paste.

Make sure you lift all the grease from the skin and then you rince it off with warm water. You can only do this before your hands get wet.

Many mechanics use this trick as it works just as well as those pummice nasty mechanics hand soaps, but it's not nearly as rough on the skin.

Do not EVER put stuff like hand creams, tooth paste, grease, butter... on burns... thats an old wives tale!

First and second degree burn you cool down with water, and apply a dry dressing.

Third degree burn, apply dry dressing and seek immediate medical attention.

I have a seriously scared hand from a third degree burn due to a clothes iron (I was a year old and a hot iron fell on it, long story). Best thing for a burn is ice water, only problem is when you lift out of the ice water it burns like hell. You ever had to scrub a bad burn? I had to scrub my hands when my house burned down (due to the carpet sticking to my skin when I crawled across the floor to get out). The brush the hospital gave me I swear it felt like crushed velvet but brother when it raked across the skin.............I can garantee you everyone in FL could hear me yell!

yes......third degrees burns is serious stuff.......so painful......when i was 16....i started working @ the deli around the corner.......i didn't know what the fuck i was doing and spilled an entire pitcher of hot coffee and scorched my whole left hand....let me tell u...i started crying like a baby.....3rd degree burns....blistered and all.......but to this day..my doctor is still amazed how i do not have one scar from it
